Create an interactive online poll for your Freewebs site

• Click on the 'Start' button at the top of the screen.
• Select the box size for your survey widget. You'll want it to be as possible to fit in your YouTube clips, so click on 'Customise' and select the large 800 x 800 box.
• Choose which color you'd like for the frame and then click 'continue'.
• On the survey widget designer screen it's simply a case of dragging and dropping the features you want to use from the left hand toolbar onto your online poll.

• In the properties box for each clip you'll need to add the last part of the web address for each clip taken from YouTube. So for examples, if the web address of a skateboarding clip was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCSStG7ECEA you'd type GCSStG7ECEA into the properties box.
• When you've added all the clips you'd like people to vote on in your online poll, add a vote button for them to click on.
• When you think your survey widget is ready to go, click 'Publish'.

Publishing your survey widget to Freewebs

• The quickest and easiest way to add your YouTube survey widget to your page is to click on the Freewebs 'Quick post' button. You'll need to enter your username, password and select whether you'd like the widget published as a blog post or as a new page on your website.* After you've made your selection, click 'Post' and after a few seconds your free online poll will be published onto your Freewebs site.
• The other method of publishing your survey widget is to copy and paste the HTML code directly into Freewebs. Simply log into your Freewebs account and then enter the blog post or web page editor. Select 'Insert custom HTML' from the page editor menu and then paste into the code you've copied from GlowDay.
